Together we drank this 'now' forbidden fruit of the drinkers drink, but we would not be drunken from it.
Together we slept and dreamt the dreamers dream.

I woke up alone, slipped, stumbled, on my knees, unable to stand.
I thought 'I' was her dream, or perhaps even a nightmare. No...
I was sleeping alone.
