How does one become bound to religious falsehoods
The purpose of this post is to help those who are bound under fear, produced from traditional religion teachings, find freedom and peace through learning to develop a relationship with God through spirit. It is our desire to assist all in some way, on their spiritual journey of coming to know God and themselves - the truth. For all of us, it is a journey that may take different paths, but ultimately will lead to only one destination - the truth within you.
The church is not a church building
The church is the PEOPLE
Religion is traditional, man-made concepts of who God is.
Fear, guilt and condemnation form the walls of the religious prison created by men. While often disguised as the truth and freeing, can become a heavy burden carried upon the shoulders of many who are heavily involved in religious organizations and denominations, today.
While recognizing there are many good religious groups in the world, there are also many religious leaders and organizations looking for converts to unknowingly mislead with their own brand of "Jesus Religion."
Jesus never spoke against anyone except the religious leaders of that day (and their religion) who were misleading the people!
This post carries on that same tradition, as we believe a religion was formed by men in Jesus' name, while ignoring the deeper truths Jesus lived and preached.
The church is not baptist, catholic, christian, presbyterian, wesleyan, methodist or any other denominations or world religion. The church is not a church building. The church is people.
So, how does one become bound to religious falsehoods?
The major mistake most make while "searching for God," is to run into a religious organization such as a local church, and begin learning their beliefs, immediately upholding them as "true."
Jesus once stated, "If the blind lead the blind, they both will fall into a ditch."
The problem comes in allowing another person to lead you, rather than God's spirit. Yes, God will and can speak to you! "A knowing within yourself," is the spirit of God who will lead you unto all truth.
The goal is for you to learn to look within yourself for the answers you seek; for God will speak to your heart.
Paul in Romans said, "...those who are led by the spirit of God are the sons of God." Surely, you dwell in God and God dwells in you. The Kingdom of God is within you."
May you find the fullness of God in your life.
May The Great Spirit's Blessings always be with you....

`The search for truth can be different for different people. Some people are unable to admit it when the truth they believed turns out to be not possible. Fundamentalism blinds those seeking truth. To find truth one needs to have faith, but questions can be far more revealing. If you trust the books written by persons of faith or science it's important to remember that the "truth" they write about was true for their experience, experimentation, observation, and theory. One's own beliefs might find truth in such work, but taken at face value without questioning it or repeating experiments means that one may be afraid of what actual truth could possibly be. I think "religious falsehoods" might be an inexact term because a religious truth is true for only one person. People hold on to their fundamental truths because they mean something personal to them and not because they are necessarily false.

`We are beings that can be blinded from the light by a careful phrase word. The masses don't think about what they are listening to, they hear a key phrase of we are those that lead you to the light and that is what they latch on to. No one thinks or questions what they are being told. This is very dangerous in my opinion. I don't follow the christan faith, but I belief it is not those who sit in church that soley get in to the light. Those that sit there are just there alot of the time because they think if they are there then they can get in without any other forth worth work. That is wrong. From what I learnt, good people get in to paradise. We are defined by good actions, and weighted down but evil intends.
Those that don't go to church but selflessly help the poor, donates, and is out there for community's benifent are better than the church goers that sit there every sunday then rush back home to get on with there lifes, and death bed repenters.

those who are good shall be good still... Revelations (not a word of this revelation was to be tampered with without a curse)
those who have more shall be given.
If we have goodness and abundance then more is given.
If we are greedy, doubt or get too involved with dark actions then we only get more ignorance and darkness.
The harvest is plentious the laborers few.
Not all those that say "lord lord" shall get into the kingdom.
I agree with you that right action is more honest than lip service.
True spirituality is doing not talk.

In my life I have fed the homeless at a shelter. My day job is working with people with disabilities. I donate to Amnesty International and to the Haiti situation. I need to do a lot more. This I know.

`I think this is very sad; When normal people are scared, and persecuted by a belief, a myth, Nothing about God has been proved, and after all this time if it was true we would all be made aware of it with something we can see, feel, touch, or witness but I am sorry to say this will never happen. Good luck to all that believe or don't believe if you look at facts alone it might help you to break away, and do good things in your own right. xx

`People have been conditioned to subject themselves to 'experts' or 'advisers' in matters of religion and spirituality. The quest for certainty in Western thinking makes it easier to rely on a prepared package of ideas and responses.
