Spirituality is the essence and at the core of our being. Things happen in the spirit long before the happen in the physical. Spirit receives things mere corporeal matter cannot. Of all the things to be broken in our human experience, a broken spirit is the most difficult to mend/heal. Oftentimes, it usually results in death, whether literally or figuratively. To me, spirituality is very important. I'm not religious, but I believe in a Creator and a higher power. I believe that higher power/Creator dwells in the spiritual. Soul connections are here, answers to the meaning of life's happenings are here, peace, contentment, enlightenment are found here. Most of us would be seized with fear if our bodies went numb and would do everything possible to avoid it, yet, we take no Interest in the numbing of our spirits/souls. I strive as best I can to take interest with what's going on at my core: who am, am I aligning with the principle I claim to value, etc.
