Trying to describe myself is difficult because we seldom see ourselves as others see us. I can, however, describe who I believe I am. I believe I am kind, considerate, thoughtful, patient, generous, affectionate, tender, passionate and compassionate, very slow to anger, very loving and not at all controlling. I’m very much a romantic, I don't have a jealous bone in my body and I am very happy with life.

I try to be a perfect gentleman all of the time. I know the meaning of the words honesty, integrity, commitment and fidelity and I also understand that the meaning of the word no is no. Those are not just words to me, they represent a lifestyle. I always say please and thank you, I love to hold hands, cuddle and maybe even steal a kiss in public if the situation is just right.

I prefer a very casual lifestyle. I have a suit and have been known to wear it to concerts or a special dinner etc.; however, in all honesty, I am much more comfortable in cargo pants and a sport shirt.

My perfect match would be intelligent, self confident, and someone who view themselves as a truly kind, nice, lovely person and have a good understanding of what it takes to be a truly kind, nice, lovely person. I would expect my partner to come to the relationship with the same character qualities that she rightfully demands of me.

Without sounding shallow, chemistry is important as well. My appearance is probably bent more toward Kelsey Grammar than Denzel Washington but I am certainly not Frankenstein either. There is no doubt that there must be some basic physical chemistry between two people. Mother Theresa has many of the character qualities I value, but she's just not my type. However, I find many women physically attractive. The real power of a relationship comes when you openly share your heart and soul with another person and they share the same with you. Appearance then begins to matter very little.
