Hello from Ottawa I consider myself open-hearted, kind, giving, optimistic, spirited, loving, spiritual, grounded, realistic and logical and I’m seeking a man with similar qualities. I can’t say that I don’t have negative traits or that I’m always in a state of “spiritual lovingness” but I’m doing my best, and although not always successful, it’s all I can do. I don’t expect perfection in a friend or partner but I hope for and encourage them to be doing their best as well.

Spirituality is a very important to me. I don’t practice any particular organized religion and my core spiritual belief is based on “non dualism”. I’m most at home with Advaita Vedanta but have learned much from Zen Buddhism, Taoism as well as other belief systems. "There are many paths to the top of the mountain, but the view is always the same".

I’m basically a happy person who has chosen to live a simple and uncomplicated life. I feel “life” is best when things are kept in balance (work/fu ctivities/quiet time, etc). I work full time and in my spare time I enjoy many things from meditating on the beauty and mystery of a flower to wildly screaming and laughing while riding the fastest, highest roller coaster I can find at the fair. I enjoy simply "being" and I enjoy "enjoying", if that makes sense. I love deep meaningful conversation (the deeper the better) but I also love to be playful and light-hearted. Laughter is important to me.

I would appreciate sharing life experiences and growing spiritually and personally alongside someone special.

Things I don’t like are violence, arrogance, materialism, negativity and such and do my best to avoid watching, listening to, or being around people/places/things that lean in that direction.
