I traverse time and space seeking truth. I have found many relative truths, but only two absolute truths. They are “Love is all there is” and “We are all one.” Love of life, family, friends, who we are, where we are, and the blessings surrounding us is the only real truth. Appreciating all the blessings I have and not being obsessed with what I don't have is how I try to live my life.

Every day that I wake up is a good day, no matter what happens afterwards. I'm focused on the journey, not so much on getting there. I find that often the journey leads me on many paths different than the one I started out on and expected to travel. I have learned to believe in the " inner voice " to guide me.

I believe trust is not something earned, but rather a gift given freely. So, honesty, sincerity, and genuine compassion are important qualities to me that I appreciate in others. I am neither a jealous nor possessive person, so I tend to back away from others who exhibit these tendencies. I value independence, believing that we are responsible for ourselves and our actions. I also cherish interdependence.

I can honestly say that at different points I've been a butcher, a baker, and a candlestick maker. I am professionally employed and well grounded in the practical aspects of life. I have two wonderful adult daughters - one who lives. I actively pursue several arcane paths including shamanism, Reiki, and was recently ordained as an interfaith minister, so I accept and honor all spiritual beliefs. I am an active student of mysticism. Hence, I enjoy meditation (both personal and guiding others), kirtan, and love to lose myself in the ecstasy of gratefulness on the shores of the Atlantic (near Wilmington). My personality type is INFP. I am an avid gardener and actually know how to can the vegetables I grow. I'm not too shabby with a sewing machine either, when I desire something that I'm unable to find commercially available. I live in Wilmington.
